Why A Favicon Is Important To Your Content Strategy

What is a Favicon? They are the tiny little square images that appear next your website title in the browser tabs.

Why Is It Important? When we have a multiple tabs open the favicon is a quick visual reference of where you site is. It also keeps your brand front and center if your site is open in someone's browser, they see your brand everytime they look up.

Why Change It ? Any CMS (Wordpress, Wix, Squarespace) will use their default favicon if you do not change it (if you use Squarespace, their Favicon is the dark grey 3D cube). This causes confusion to the user, and if another site is open who has not changed their Favicon you are looking like them!
